I was laid off today. I was let go from a position I loved and a company I loved.
My wonderful boss was let go too. Someone who has been with the company 26 years gone, just like that.
I am an unemployed, single mom and I'm terrified. I am mourning the loss of something that was a large part of my identity.
Hope there's a dawn after this darkest hour.

Oh Kara... I am so very sorry. I am in total shock and sick to my stomach for you. I do know that you are stronger than this though. I know you can pull through. If there is anything I can do, even from far away, just let me know. Big hugs from Adam, Chase and I.
